About Mountain Valley Tree Service

Our Story

Mountain Valley Tree Service is a family-owned and operated business. The team has the father and son as the leading managers. Odilon Martinez (the father), known better as “Odi,” worked for Gates Tree Service for over 20 years. With that experience, Odi will bring plenty of expertise to our company and, most importantly, to our customers.

Jesus, the eldest of his siblings, graduated from California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) in 2016. His academic journey included a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Business Administration, a combination that perfectly complements his practical knowledge of tree care. Growing up, Jesus observed his father, Odi, climbing big cypress and pine trees, and now, he carries forward this important knowledge in our company.

We have been serving Salinas, Monterey, Carmel, Pacific, Grove, Pebble Beach, and Santa Cruz County for over twenty Years. In 2019, we decided to become a legitimate company. Our goal became to share our tree care skills and excellent customer service with new customers.
